Adventurers are the player characters of Necropolis. Lured from all across Zothique, Adventurers enter the Necropolis in search of fame, riches, and perhaps the penultimate treasure - the Amulet of Sioul.
Consisting of two different classes, Blackguard or Brute, players are able to choose the gender of their Adventurer, as well as their origin which is reflected in various colors. The customization of an Adventurer is purely cosmetic, and has no bearing on in-game ability.
Both classes each have their own advantages and disadvantages, as well as a weapon moveset unique to each.
